Rescue Outreach Mission Thanks Brandy Ioppolo and Strategic VFO

Any non-profit is grateful to those individuals who help provide their talent, their time and their treasure. For Rescue Outreach Mission, there are a few individuals and their companies who simply have provided invaluable services that helped us perform our critical mission.

One such person is Brandy Ioppolo and her firm, Strategic VFO.

Brandy joined the Rescue Outreach Mission board in 2021 and her impact was felt nearly immediately. At that time, the organization was closely looking at how to refine operations to meet the growing need in Seminole County and Brandy quickly helped to set up an effective accounting system to help us plan and coordinate the operations of the shelter.

She truly acted as the organization's “virtual CFO” helping to create processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, donations, and ensuring we paid our bills.

"We would not be able to help as many men, women and children as we have without her help and the countless hours of her company's time she donated to the organization," says Chris Ham, executive director, Rescue Outreach Mission. "We are in a sound financial position, with great operating procedures for our finances thanks to her assistance."

As Seminole County’s only homeless shelter, Rescue Outreach Mission depends on the philanthropy of the local residents, churches and businesses. From volunteers to help with meals to funding to pay for utility bills, no gift is too small as the need is great.

About Rescue Outreach Mission:  In 1986, Mother Blanche Bell Weaver, Pastor of the Rescue Church of God, saw desperate people in her community living without basic essentials. With the support of her church and members, she was determined to help those in need. She founded the Rescue Outreach Mission to provide safety, support and a healing environment for her community.
Located across from the Rescue Church of God in Sanford, Rescue Outreach Mission remains true to her mission by serving disadvantaged people throughout Central Florida by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and assisting those who are homeless to become self-sufficient.
