Tomorrow Night is the Night to Win Big!

Everyone needs a vacation. Don’t you? If so, then register now for the Rescue Outreach Mission’s charity poker tournament.

You could win the grand prize – a $1,500 travel package of cash and travel vouchers.

“We’re really focused on finding unique ways people can support our mission, to help turn around the lives of those experiencing homelessness” says Chris Ham, executive director, Rescue Outreach Mission. “It’s a wonderful  opportunity to have a great time, but also do some good for our community.”

The poker tournament has a limited number of seats available, giving players great odds to win a fantastic prize. There are also prizes for second and third place in the tournament.

Sanford’s Wharton-Smith is the presenting sponsor of the tournament, with other sponsors including Alan Byrd & Associates, Chianti’s, Mark’s Pawn & Jewelry and Postnet.

The poker tournament takes place on Saturday, September 23 at Chianti’s in Sanford. The event starts at 4 p.m., with the tournament starting at 6 p.m.

About Rescue Outreach Mission:  In 1986, Mother Blanche Bell Weaver, Pastor of the Rescue Church of God, saw desperate people in her community living without basic essentials. With the support of her church and members, she was determined to help those in need. She founded the Rescue Outreach Mission to provide safety, support and a healing environment for her community.

Located across from the Rescue Church of God in Sanford, Rescue Outreach Mission remains true to her mission by serving disadvantaged people throughout Central Florida by providing resources that help prevent homelessness and assisting those who are homeless to become self-sufficient.
