VyStar Celebrates National Veterans and Military Families Month

Events Throughout November will Honor Veterans and Active-Duty Service Members
 
Jacksonville, Florida - VyStar is celebrating National Veterans and Military Families Month and Veterans Day by offering special product offers, community events and recognitions to honor past and present military members and their families in North and Central Florida and Georgia. Supporting the brave men and women of our military and their families has been a focus of our credit union since we were founded at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in 1952, and that commitment remains just as strong today.

To say thank you to our members who have spent time in the military, VyStar is offering a limited-time promotion throughout November on VyStar VA purchase loans. Veterans and active-duty military receive an extra 0.25% off VyStar VA purchase loans. Plus, they are eligible to save up to $5,000 in closing costs or choose an additional 0.25% rate discount.
VyStar is also proud to work alongside local businesses, institutions, and community partners to demonstrate our support for the military community through a variety of Veterans Day and military appreciation events during the month. VyStar is proud to support Veterans Day parades in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Savannah along with military and veterans' appreciation luncheons in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Stockbridge, Savannah, and Atlanta. In addition, VyStar proudly sponsored the Sea and Sky Spectacular in Jacksonville and the Orlando Air Show, military appreciation college football games including the Florida Blue Florida Classic in Orlando, the University of Florida in Gainesville and Florida State in Tallahassee. The credit union is also sponsoring free admission to Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens and museums in Jacksonville and Daytona.
