Guayama Group Inc. Partners with VEI to Present “Seven Deadly Sins of IT Security” – October 15, 2025
The Veterans Entrepreneurship Initiative (VEI) is partnering with Guayama Group Inc. to host a hybrid workshop, “Seven Deadly Sins of IT Security,” on October 15 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the National Entrepreneur Center in Orlando, with a virtual option available via Zoom. This engaging session is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs strengthen their cybersecurity posture and protect their operations from common threats.
Led by cybersecurity expert Dr. Darwin Rivera, the workshop will uncover the seven most common and avoidable IT security mistakes that leave businesses vulnerable. Attendees will learn which security missteps to avoid, receive practical steps to immediately improve their defenses, and build a personalized action plan for greater resilience. The session delivers actionable insights without requiring a large IT team or budget, making it especially valuable for startups, veteran-owned businesses, and small enterprises.
Dr. Rivera is a U.S. Air Force veteran, founder and CEO of Guayama Group Inc., and a Doctor of Business Administration from IE University. With over 30 years of technology and security experience, he is passionate about demystifying cybersecurity and empowering business owners to protect what matters most.
