Description
We use these events as a learn-to-knit/knitting gathering for our "Angel Snugs" program...as well as a gathering of friends to get together and hang out for a good cause. Our items are donated to children with cancer undergoing their treatments. So, here's the skinny...for those of you that want to learn how to knit/crochet items and plan on buying your own materials, you'll need a pair of size 11 needles-short or long is your preference and whatever yarn you want. (The smaller the number size the smaller the stitch, but size 11 is what I was taught with-both short and long and I don't have a preference...all the same to me.) For those of you that would like to learn how to knit/crochet and make items for "Angel Snugs", I'll provide the yarn and the needles-BUT YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW, so I have enough needles. Our events are held every third Sunday of the month. If you just want to donate yarn or tools to make snugs, please contact angi@angelsnugs.org to make arrangements for pick-up. If you'd like to learn more about our program, please visit our website www.angelsnugs.org. Hope to see you there!
