On Sunday Sept 8th starting at 7 AM- the 1st Annual Champions for Charities Cycling Event - sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lake Mary & benefiting both the Sharing Center of Seminole County & the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida will begin!! This a ride , not a race ,which means all levels of cyclists from occasional riders to seasoned cyclists are welcome to participate!! Four routes are available to accomodate our "Champions" - 10 miles, 33 miles, 66 miles & 100 miles throughout Seminole and Volusia Counties!! The ride begins and ends on the beautiful campus of AAA National office in Heathrow, FL . The Champions Ride for Charities is a new name to continue in the tradition of the Salute to Freedom Ride - an annual Central Florida event many riders are familiar with. Although the name has changed, the focus remains the same - To donate through the Rotary Club of Lake Mary. All proceeds to benefit local causes here in Seminole County.
