CareerSource Central Florida offers innovative solutions to assist Central Florida businesses to succeed in today’s workforce, while providing the tools job seekers need to find jobs or advance in their current career. Based on a job seekers education, skill sets and vision for their future, CareerSource Central Florida guides them through every step of the process, from developing a compelling resume to preparing for interviews to researching companies and openings. We also have special programs for specifically skilled applicants such as veterans, students and candidates with advanced and/or specialized degrees. Job seekers might also qualify for a training scholarship to prepare for a career that’s in high demand in their occupational area. We’re different from other career building organizations because we just don’t work with job seekers. We actively work on behalf of employers that have jobs to fill right away. We know exactly what they are looking for in an employee. As a regional employment partner CareerSource Central Florida offers a variety of related training and resources including:
• Employability skills training seminars
• Microsoft Office Suite training/tutorials
• One-on-one job placement assistance
• Resource rooms that provide job seeker research and resources for your job search
• Access to paid work experience programs
• Formalized classroom training programs
• Short-term training opportunities
• Veteran services to connect transitioning service members with meaningful employment opportunities CareerSource Central Florida serves 5 counties: Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Sumter counties. We know that collaborating with other community agencies will best serve Central Florida to help those looking for work. We would like to invite you to come to your local CareerSource Central Florida Office to learn more about our services and for us to learn more about your agency services. We often share the same customer base and we would like to provide our customers accurate information on community services that can meet their needs. This meeting is intended to bring more community alliance to collaborate and foster partnerships to leverage funding and to bring awareness of the programs CareerSource Central Florida provides. This open house will allow us to share information (bring your brochures/flyers) and get an opportunity for our staff to meet. We would like for you to provide information on your services (you will have 10 minutes to present) to our staff. We will then have a meet and greet with all the office staff and afterwards we will provide you a tour of the CareerSource Central Florida Seminole County Office so you can see firsthand what services we are providing.
