Description
At a festive Valentine's Day Luncheon Celebration on February 12 at 11 a.m., the Heathrow Women's club will feature Jan Clanton, Associate Curator at the Orlando Museum of Art. Clanton will share some of the glories of the Orlando Museum of Art. Through projected images and Jan's explanations you will learn about the Museum's extraordinary permanent collection. With her extensive art history background Jan will educate and enthrall. She will also tell you about amazing programs offered to those with dementia and their healthy caregivers, students with developmental disabilities and the blind and how the museum reaches out to help these people in a unique and fascinating way. Following the luncheon will be a ''Purse Auction'' with brand name new or like new purses. All proceeds will go to support the chosen charities of Heathrow Women's Club.
