Child Abuse Prevention Month begins in Seminole County on Sunday, March 28th with the Light of Hope Ceremony at Crane's Roost. Light of Hope Ceremony Sponsored by SC Friends of Abused Children Inc., Guardian Ad Litem Program, & SC Sheriffs Office § Candlelight vigil and guest speaker honoring our children and the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Seminole County and remembering children who have been abused and neglected. § There will be a precession of vehicles with a lights and sirens escort to start the festivities and will be staging at the parking lot on the corner of Douglas and Central Parkway. § For additional info: Yvonne Stimac 407-921-1987 ystimac@metalessence.com See link to flyer www.friendsofabusedchildren.org § Light of Hope will once again acknowledge the start of the Pinwheels of Prevention Campaign, which is the theme in our state of turning problems of child abuse into solutions.
