Description
The Professional Women's Luncheon has set the standard for showcasing successful women in an environment that is inspiring and exciting. At each lunch, a high profile woman shares her life story, giving attendees a look into the struggles and accomplishments of women throughout Central Florida. Likewise, the luncheon is attended by successful business women who participate in special activities designed to facilitate introductions.
SPEAKERS:
Lysa Barbano
Lysa has a lengthy career in the financial services industry and is currently serving as Senior Vice President, Florida Market President for VyStar Credit Union. In her role she is responsible for the planning, implementation, and managing of objectives throughout the state. She is also accountable for community initiatives and employee engagement. Lysa focuses on developing her team, growing the VyStar brand and presence, and making a positive, impactful difference in the community. Lysa and her husband moved to Orlando a little over two years ago with their dog, Diesel. She has three adult children and one granddaughter that lives nearby.
At the luncheon, Lysa will share pieces of her personal and professional journey, overcoming a tumultuous beginning and daunting challenges in her career. Her story will shed light on moments of resilience and resolve that led to a rebuilding and personal victory. One of the many lessons she learned along the way, is that everyone has a story and by opening about hers, she hopes to encourage others facing their own battles.
