Meredith Tawney, Vice President of Troop Support, Girl Scouts of Citrus
Stan Palmer, District STEM Specialist, Seminole County Public Schools
Stan Palmer has been an educator for 17 years. He has taught elementary, special education, and middle school technology. Currently he works as the K-12 STEM Specialist with Seminole County Public Schools. As curriculum support for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs he supports a variety of district initiatives ranging from robotics, computer science, 3D printing, and middle school physics just to name a few. Along with these programs, Mr. Palmer also oversees the SCPS district-wide Rube Goldberg Contest (an engineering competition that challenges students to devise intricate solutions to a given task).
