Providing a unique perspective on one of the most daunting issues facing seniors, Ken Peach, a renowned local health care expert, will be speaking about Florida¬ Senior Living: A Bright Future. The presentation will be part of Senior Living Options Day, an event focused on providing seniors and their adult children the information they need to make an informed decision about the multitude of options available to all seniors. The event is presented by One Senior Place in Altamonte Springs. "A choice on where to live is often one of the most difficult decisions facing our seniors and their families," says Karen Precord, director of One Senior Place Altamonte. "Ken Peach has been involved in health care in Central Florida for decades, and his presentation will provide key guidance for those facing these decisions." Peach started in the health care industry in 1985. He has been involved in a variety of roles, including a senior living executive, a hospital administrator, a health care practice developer and more. Since 2010, he has been the executive director of the Health Council of East Central Florida, the health planning agency for Orlando and the Space Coast. In addition to Peach's presentation, Senior Living Options Day will have multiple senior living companies available to discuss specific questions, along with a variety of resident business who have a permanent location at One Senior Place. A similar event will be held at the Viera location of One Senior Place.
