Joint Statement between the School Board of Seminole County and the Seminole Education Association, Inc.

In the spirit of cooperation, the School Board of Seminole County and the Seminole Education Association, Inc. are pleased to announce that the parties have tentatively agreed to contract language and compensation.
- Recurring salary increase for the 2025-2026 school year as follows:
- Highly Effective – 2.33%
- Effective – 1.36%
- Grandfathered – 1.82%
- Title I Supplement of $100 for each teacher at a Title I eligible school for 2025-2026.
- The parties agree to reopen bargaining for salaries and compensation for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Salary adjustments will be retro to the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.
- 2025-2026 probationary teachers are not eligible for a performance increase.
- Supplements of any kind, including advanced degree supplements, are not included in the calculation of the performance/grandfather salary adjustments.
Ratification details will be forthcoming.
The School Board and the Seminole Education Association, Inc. extend their appreciation to those who made contributions to a positive and productive bargaining process and look forward to the continuing partnership as we build upon the excellence of Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS).
