The City of Altamonte Springs proudly celebrates City Manager Frank Martz, named one of Central Florida’s Most Influential Leaders by the Orlando Business Journal for 2025. The publication recognized his visionary leadership, regional impact and commitment to reimagining local government.
Martz guides Altamonte Springs as one of Florida’s most forward-looking cities. For more than a decade, he has kept the City debt-free while delivering bold initiatives that strengthen community well-being and enhance quality of life.
This year, Martz drove the City to new milestones in innovation, infrastructure and workforce development. He expanded autonomous mobility through CraneRIDES and introduced hands-on career opportunities with the City Career Accelerator, setting new standards for what local government achievement.
Through the Altamonte Global Innovation Lab (AGĪL), Martz forges impactful public-private partnerships that deliver real results. Projects such as AI-powered infrastructure monitoring, real-time traffic coordination and workforce programs advance the City’s mission to provide practical solutions that strengthen the region.

The Orlando Business Journal selects its Most Influential Leaders based on exceptional leadership, innovation and measurable impact. The publication will feature honorees in the October 24 edition and recognize them at an awards ceremony on October 23.
