Armor Up Recovery Homes and Ministries Seeks Passionate Volunteers as Organization Expands

Armor Up Recovery Homes and Ministries, a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving women in recovery throughout Seminole County, is inviting the community to come alongside its mission as the organization grows.

For over five years, Armor Up has operated two transitional recovery homes, Freedom House and Victory House, walking alongside women recovering from addiction, human trafficking, abuse, mental illness, and other destructive lifestyles. With both homes consistently at full capacity and a waitlist of women seeking help, Armor Up is expanding its team to help meet the need and lay the groundwork for a future third home.

The organization is currently seeking passionate individuals to fill several volunteer and flexible roles, each able to work on their own time:

• Fundraiser — Help grow Armor Up's reach and resources by developing fundraising strategies and donor relationships. (This position offers a commission based on funds raised).
• Treasurer — Support financial stewardship, budgeting, and reporting for the organization.
• Grant Writer — Research and write grant applications to help secure funding for Armor Up's growing programs.
• Board Members — Join the leadership team in guiding Armor Up's vision and future direction.

We are a small but mighty ministry doing big work in this community. We know there are people in Seminole County who share this heart for restoring hope to women and families and we would love for them to come alongside us in whatever way fits their gifts and their time."
