Every woman who walks through the doors of Armor Up Recovery Homes is someone's daughter, sister, mother, or grandmother. For over five years, Armor Up Recovery Homes and Ministries has been serving Seminole County and beyond, offering faith-based transitional sober living for women recovering from addiction, trauma, homelessness, and human trafficking. Through Freedom House and Victory House, we walk alongside 14 women at a time, not just helping them get sober, but equipping them to live productive, effective, powerful lives and restoring families and relationships along the way.
We come alongside each woman individually, offering the twelve steps of recovery, inner healing, mentorship, workshops, Bible study, and community support : a personalized plan for her own journey. This work doesn't happen alone, and it never has. It happens because people in this community have been willing to plant seeds: through mentorship, prayer, shared expertise, or simply showing up.
That's the invitation we want to extend to our fellow Chamber members. Armor Up is growing, and we're looking for new partners who want to grow with us - whether that looks like volunteering, mentoring, offering professional guidance, hosting an event, or simply staying connected as our ministry expands toward a third home, Redemption House.
You may already know someone, a family member, friend, colleague, or employee - quietly struggling with addiction or its aftermath. Recovery housing is often the missing piece that keeps someone from returning to the environment that contributed to their struggle in the first place. Partnering with Armor Up is a direct way to be part of the solution in our own community.
If you feel called to be part of what God is doing through Armor Up - as a partner, a volunteer, or simply a connection worth making, we'd love to talk. Reach out to Angella Moore at angella@armoruprecovery.org or 407-592-6950, or find us on Facebook and Instagram @armoruprecoveryhomes.
Together, we're planting seeds of hope and watching lives change because of it.
