Be The Change Today Announces First Grant Award of 2026 to Scouting America Troop 4631

Oviedo, Florida, March 12, 2026 - Be The Change Today has announced its first grant award of 2026, awarding $2,700 to Scouting America Troop 4631 in support of summer camp participation and related program expenses for the young women of the troop.

This award reflects the Foundation’s ongoing mission to provide opportunities, financial assistance, and encouragement to individuals and charitable organizations throughout Central Florida. It also marks an important step in the Foundation’s expanded grantmaking efforts for 2026.

According to the troop’s grant application, the funding will help offset summer camp expenses and support participation in a program designed to provide leadership development, outdoor experience, personal growth, teamwork, and service opportunities for the Scouts involved. By helping reduce the financial burden associated with camp attendance, the grant is intended to make these experiences more accessible to the young women of Troop 4631. 

Be The Change Today’s Board approved the award as part of its first quarterly grant cycle of 2026. The Foundation’s grantmaking program is intended to support organizations and initiatives that align with its charitable mission and create meaningful impact in the community.

Scouting America Troop 4631 provides opportunities for young women to develop confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of service through hands-on experiences and group participation. Support for these kinds of programs aligns with the Foundation’s broader commitment to strengthening the community through service, philanthropy, and investment in people.
