CareerSource Central Florida President and CEO Recognized as Workforce Development Professional of the Year

Orange County, FL (May 16, 2025) – CareerSource Central Florida President and CEO Pamela J. Nabors was named the 2025 Toni Jennings Workforce Development Professional of the Year last night by the Florida Economic Development Council at its annual conference.

“FEDC is Florida’s leading organization for advancing statewide prosperity by professionalizing our field, strengthening our competitiveness, and serving as the number one source of economic development expertise in Florida,” said Beth Cicchetti, CEcD, Executive Director of the Florida Economic Development Council. “Pam’s career in workforce development and her dedication to Central Florida’s economic growth exhibit timely, innovative, and impactful responses to the region’s critical workforce needs. FEDC is proud to recognize Pam with this prestigious honor, and we thank her and the entire team at CareerSource Central Florida for their tremendous service.”

Pam Nabors brings more than three decades of experience in workforce development to her role as President and CEO of CareerSource Central Florida, a position she has held since 2012. Her long-standing career reflects a deep and sustained commitment to empowering individuals and strengthening regional economies through workforce solutions.

The Toni Jennings Workforce Development Professional of the Year Award was first given in 2007 to honor and recognize the former Lieutenant Governor’s leadership in revamping Florida’s workforce system to respond to critical workforce needs and to advance local, regional, and state economic development.
