LONGWOOD, FL — The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) is bringing its innovative approach to lifelong learning and development to Longwood with the opening of its new Adult Program satellite campus—and the community is invited to come see it for themselves.
CECO will host an Open House on Wednesday, October 28, from 4–6 p.m. at its new Longwood location. Guests are welcome to stop by anytime during the event to tour the space, meet members of the CECO team, learn more about Conductive Education, and discover how the Adult Program helps individuals with neurological motor disabilities build greater independence, confidence, connection, and quality of life.
“We are excited to bring CECO’s Adult Program to Longwood and create more opportunities for adults with neurological motor disabilities in our community,” said Dr. Krisztina Weiszhaupt, Executive Director of CECO. “Our Open House is a chance for people to come in, ask questions, meet our team, and learn more about what makes CECO different.”
CECO is the largest Conductive Education center in the United States and the only center of its kind in Florida. For more than 25 years, CECO has served children and adults with neurological motor disabilities through programs designed to develop physical, cognitive, communication, social, and life skills.
The new Longwood Adult Program expands CECO’s ability to serve adults in Central Florida and provides a dedicated space where participants can learn, connect, and work toward greater independence.
“We want our new Longwood campus to become part of the community,” said Sarah Clark, CECO’s Director of Development. “Whether you are a family looking for resources, a healthcare or education professional, a community leader, a business, or simply someone who wants to learn more, we would love to welcome you.”
