City of Altamonte Spring Press Release - Hurricane Milton - Update 2

Tuesday, October 8 – All City offices, parks and facilities will close starting today at 12 p.m.
Sand and Bag Self-Service
The City of Altamonte Springs is extending self-service sandbag operations until 3:30 p.m. today.
 
Locations:
Eastmonte Park | 830 Magnolia Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 (off S. Ronald Reagan Blvd.)
Westmonte Recreation Center | 624 Bills Lane, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 (off Spring Oaks Blvd.)
Residents must bring their own shovel as this is a self-service operation. Each household is limited to 15 bags. Park rangers are on site for those who require assistance while sandbag sites are open.
Code Enforcement Board Meeting Canceled
The Code Enforcement Board meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024 has been canceled. All parties will receive new hearing notices once a new date is established.
