The City of Longwood is proud to join cities across Florida in celebrating Florida City Government Week from October 21-27. Florida City Government Week aims to celebrate, showcase and engage citizens in the work of municipal government. We invite the media and Longwood residents to join us in these exciting events. These annual event highlight the importance of municipal government and its direct impact on residents.

Date: Thursday, October 24, 2024
Time: 8:45 AM (student arrival)
Location: Longwood Elementary School, 840 Orange Ave.
Details: Enjoy an exciting vehicle display featuring police cars, fire trucks, and public works vehicles. City departments will showcase their vehicles and interact with students, providing a hands-on learning experience.
Scavenger Hunt Bingo
Date: October 21-24, 2024
Details: Longwood residents are encouraged to participate in a city-wide scavenger hunt bingo game by visiting local Longwood businesses to collect stickers and snap photos for social media. The winner and runner up will each get a Grand Prize Gift Basket, which will include contributions from participating businesses. More info: https://www.longwoodfl.org/
