Calvary Orlando Church Day of Hope| October 24 | 7 – 9 p.m.
Join Calvary Orlando for a Day of Hope community event featuring music, a kids’ zone, food vendors and more. Admission is free.
Howl-O-Ween 2025| October 25 | 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Franklin’s Friends is hosting the 12th annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon and Canine Costume Contest at Cranes Roost Park. The event features a dog walk, costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, music, food trucks and more, with all proceeds benefiting Franklin’s Friends. Participants can enjoy a morning of family fun while supporting local animal welfare. Prizes are awarded to top fundraisers and best costumes. Admission is free.
Halloween at Cranes Roost Park| October 31 | 5 – 9 p.m.
Halloween at Cranes Roost Park is back for a night of frights and delights. Families can enjoy a safe alternative to trick-or-treating with candy stations circling the lake. Kids can strut their stuff in the costume contest, play festive games and dive into spooky activities. The park will buzz with energy, laughter and plenty of treats to go around. Food and drinks are available for purchase, and admission is free. Don’t miss one of the community’s favorite fall traditions!
Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival | November 1 | 2 – 7 p.m.
The Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival brings a sizzling celebration of craft brews, crispy bacon and smoky barbecue to Cranes Roost Park. Guests can sample more than 40 craft beers and enjoy a variety of bacon and barbecue creations from some of Central Florida’s top eateries, all in one flavor-filled experience. General admission is free. Drink tickets and food are available for purchase.
Florida Together in TEAL Walk| November 8 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The Together in TEAL walk brings the community together to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, honor survivors, celebrate the lives of those lost and support caregivers. The event aims to turn activism into action, building momentum in the fight against ovarian cancer while offering connection and encouragement to all who participate. Registration is required.
Autism Speaks Empower Walk and 5K Run| November 9 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Step up for a day of inspiration and action at the Autism Speaks Empower Walk and 5K Run This exciting fundraising event is all about making a real difference for people with autism now and building even more possibilities for tomorrow. Join Autism Speaks to connect with people with autism, their families, friends and supporters, all coming together as a powerful community. Ali’s Hope Annual Glassful of Hope| November 13 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The Glassful of Hope Wine Walk supports Ali’s Hope Foundation in its mission to inspire hope and improve the quality of life for young adults living with mental illness. This special evening invites guests to enjoy wine tastings while raising funds that allow the foundation to continue providing advocacy, education and support. Thanks to generous sponsors, Ali’s Hope Foundation can host events like this while expanding its efforts to create meaningful change. This is a ticketed event. Registration is required.
Light Up the Holidays | December 6 | 5 – 9 p.m.
The City of Altamonte Springs and Duke Energy will once again light up Cranes Roost Park with a night full of holiday cheer. Guests can look forward to live music, family entertainment, a kids’ zone, food and vendor booths and a spectacular fireworks display. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make a special appearance as the park comes alive with dazzling holiday decorations, including more than one million sparkling lights and a breathtaking 60-foot tree adorned with thousands of ornaments and garland.
AdventHealth Orchestra Concert | December 7 | 6 – 7 p.m.
This holiday season, the AdventHealth Orchestra is bringing its music to Cranes Roost Park. As the first ensemble of its kind in the AdventHealth system, the orchestra features musically gifted physicians, clinicians and team members who come together outside the hospital to share their talents. Audiences can enjoy an uplifting Christmas concert that blends world-class medical expertise with the healing power of music for an evening of inspiration and holiday cheer.
Holiday Movie Nights | December 11 & 18| 7 – 9 p.m.
Bring the whole family to Cranes Roost Park for an evening of holiday movies under the stars. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy free showings of seasonal favorites on the big screen. Food vendors will be on-site with tasty treats to round out the night. This year’s lineup includes The Nightmare Before Christmas on December 11 and Rise of the Guardians on December 18.
Holiday Concert with Santa | December 12 & 19| 7 – 9 p.m.
Enjoy the sounds of the season at Cranes Roost Park with live holiday concerts at the Eddie Rose Amphitheater. Families can also stop by Park Plaza to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus for photos and festive cheer. Food vendors will be on-site, along with holiday characters to bring even more magic to the night. Musical entertainment includes The Anderson Jazz Quintet featuring the OCSA Jazz Orchestra on December 12 and Ember Road on December 19.
