EMERGENCY INFORMATION & COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR HURRICANE MILTON

At a press conference held Tuesday, October 7 at 1:30pm, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer declared a State of Emergency in the City of Orlando. The city’s Emergency Operations Center will move to a Level 2 Activation on Tuesday, October 8, at 10am and expects to move to a Level 1 Full Activation on Wednesday, October 9 at 12pm.

• Orlando-based Rosen Hotel brand is offering “hurricane distress rates” and pet-friendly rooms for those looking to seek shelter from Hurricane Milton. The hotel and convention center resort chain is offering discounted rates to hurricane evacuees as low as $69 a night.
• AdventHealth Centra Care will offer complimentary video visits with clinicians beginning Wednesday 8:00am through Thursday 8:00am in the state of Florida with the code Milton.
