Expanded Oviedo Medical Office Building Improves Community’s Access To Specialty Care

AdventHealth recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of its newly expanded and refreshed medical office building in Oviedo, marking an important step in improving access to specialty care for residents across the Oviedo-Winter Springs community and surrounding areas. 
 
The updated AdventHealth Oviedo Medical Office Building is a shared investment by AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and AdventHealth Winter Park, reflecting a collaborative approach to caring for a growing region and making care easier to reach for neighbors across Seminole County and nearby Orange County. 
 
Community leaders, chamber partners, physicians and AdventHealth caregivers gathered to recognize the completion of the expanded space, which was designed to help patients receive care close to home in a setting focused on whole-person healing. 
 
The expansion increases access to a growing number of specialty services, including oncology, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, OB-GYN and advanced gynecologic surgery, vascular surgery, as well as on-site imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services.  
 
Leaders from both AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and AdventHealth Winter Park joined city and chamber representatives for the celebration.
