Florida Hometown Heroes Program Reopens with $50 Million in Funding to Help Eligible Homebuyers

The Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program has officially reopened as of July 13, with $50 million in available funding to assist eligible first-time homebuyers across the state.
The program offers qualified buyers up to $35,000 toward their down payment and closing costs, making homeownership more attainable for those who serve Florida's communities. Additionally, income limits have increased, allowing many individuals and families who may not have qualified previously to become eligible under the updated guidelines.
The Florida Hometown Heroes Program is available to many essential workers and public servants, including:

• Firefighters

• Healthcare professionals
• Court employees
• Veterans
• Active-duty military personnel
• And many other eligible Florida occupations
