Genske & Co. Launches $500 Financial Health Review for Businesses and Organizations

New service provides an independent second set of eyes for leaders who want greater confidence in their financial reporting—without replacing their existing accounting team.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Genske & Co., a boutique accounting and financial advisory firm, has launched a new $500 Financial Health Review, designed to help business owners and organizational leaders better understand the condition of their financial records and reporting.

The new service addresses a common challenge: an organization may have a trusted bookkeeper, accountant or internal finance professional handling its day-to-day accounting, while leadership still lacks complete confidence in the financial information being used to make decisions.

“You don't necessarily need a new bookkeeper. You may just need a second set of eyes,” said Neota Genske, founder of Genske & Co. “There are organizations with good people doing their accounting that simply need another level of financial expertise reviewing the work, identifying concerns and helping leadership understand what the numbers are actually telling them.”

For a flat fee of $500, Genske & Co. conducts a high-level review of the organization's existing accounting and financial reporting. The review considers areas such as financial statement structure, balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, unusual balances, accounts receivable and payable, budget-to-actual reporting, and visible accounting or reporting concerns.

Clients receive a concise Financial Health Report categorizing observations as Green, Yellow or Red—what appears to be working, what deserves attention and what should be addressed—along with recommended next steps and a 30-minute executive debrief.

The service is intentionally designed as an assessment rather than an accounting takeover.

“Finding a problem doesn't automatically mean replacing the person doing the books,” Genske said. “Sometimes the existing team can make the corrections. What leadership needs is someone experienced enough to identify the issue, explain why it matters and make sure it gets addressed.”

The Financial Health Review also serves as an entry point for organizations that may need additional financial leadership. Genske & Co. provides fractional CFO oversight, Board and Finance Committee financial support, and full-service accounting and financial services based on each organization's needs.

Genske & Co. works with businesses, Chambers of Commerce, nonprofit organizations, associations and other organizations seeking stronger accounting, financial reporting and executive-level financial guidance.
