Greater Orlando Sports Commission Announces 2024-25 Executive Committee Officers

The Greater Orlando Sports Commission (GO Sports) has announced its 2024-25 Executive Committee officers. This team will provide vision, guidance and counsel when it comes to attracting and managing sports-related events, conferences and activities that are designed to drive positive economic development and visitation to the greater Orlando area. They will also be focused on marketing the destination that extends across the City of Orlando and Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties.

 

“We are proud to announce our 2024-25 Executive Committee officers and welcome a new chapter of leadership, collaboration, and growth for our organization,” said Jason Siegel, President & CEO of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “We are so thankful for Sharon Line Clary’s service to our organization, and we are confident that Caesar Lopez will be a tremendous leader for our board and team over the next two years. We’re excited to welcome Tammy Gustafson to the Executive Committee after serving on our board for more than four years. Together, we look forward to continuing to build on our region’s success.”

 

2024-25 Executive Committee Officers:

  • Chairman: Caesar Lopez is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando Pride, and Inter&Co Stadium, overseeing stadium operations, security, people and culture, legal and government affairs. Prior to joining the team side in Orlando, Caesar spent time at Major League Soccer and Soccer United Marketing where he provided strategic counsel to multiple MLS Clubs, U.S. Soccer Federation and the Mexican Federation on all commercial deals and player transactions.
  • Chair-Elect: Tammy Gustafson is the Vice President of Sales Integration at Universal Destinations & Experiences, responsible for sales integration across the global sales portfolio. Gustafson has been part of the Universal family since 2007 and during that time has seen the resort grow to three parks and eight hotels, including CityWalk. Appointed by the Governor’s office to the Florida Commission on Tourism, Gustafson served as President of the Visit Florida Board of Directors 2014-15 and has been on the board since 2005.
  • Past Chair: Sharon Line Clary is Senior Vice President of Community Impact and Partnership Engagement at AdventHealth where she oversees strategic marketing, sports/entertainment partnerships and clinical/corporate sales for the nationally ranked health care system. Prior to joining AdventHealth, Sharon worked in sports marketing and operations for the Olympics, World Cup Soccer and collegiate sports.
  • General Counsel: Chris Carmody is a Shareholder at GrayRobinson, P.A. He earned his certification as a Designated Professional Lobbyist and is an attorney admitted to practice in all Florida state courts. Chris has substantial experience handling government relations matters, including representation before the Florida legislative and executive branches, purchasing and procurement appeals, and professional licensing.
