What: It’s time to hop on over to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens for an egg-citing time!
The Zoo’s annual springtime celebration, Hippity Hop Adventure will be held on Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Zoo will stay open until 5 p.m. Last entry is at 4:15 p.m.
The egg-stra special event is a wonderful way for families to come together and celebrate the season. Guests can enjoy a full day of springtime fun around the Zoo, including:
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Music from Mr. Richard
Zoo-wide scavenger hunt with prizes
Treat Trail with themed activity stations around the Zoo
Crafts, kids activities and face painting
DJ dance party on the splash pad
Keeper chats and animal experiences throughout the day
Plus, ALL-NEW this year guests will also be able to enjoy two new experiences:
Plush Animal Vet Check Kids can bring their favorite plush animal or purchase one from the Zoo’s gift shop to receive a pretend veterinary check-up. Participants will build a mini habitat carrier and take home an official adoption certificate. $5 donation per exam (This helps provide care for the Zoo animals). FREE plush for the first 30 participants courtesy of IKEA.
Golden Conservation Egg Draw Guests can support wildlife conservation with a donation for a chance to draw one of five Golden Conservation Eggs, each containing a special prize basket. The Zoo’s animal residents will also join in on the celebration with Easter-themed enrichment items in their habitats.
All activities (except face painting & Plush Animal Vet Check - additional fee applies) are included in general Zoo admission. Children 2 and younger are free. General admission tickets can be purchased here.
This event is not included in free admission for Annual Pass Holders, but a discounted rate of $5 per person named on the pass is available for this event. Pass holders can purchase tickets, here.
