J. Douglas Williams YMCA Helps Feed Kids This Summer

J. Douglas Williams YMCA Proud to Serve as Summer Break Spot Meal Site in Partnership with Red Apple Dining and Seminole County Public Schools

The J. Douglas Williams YMCA is proud to serve as an official Summer Break Spot meal site in partnership with Red Apple Dining and Seminole County Public Schools, helping ensure local children and teens have access to healthy meals throughout the summer months.

Seminole County Public Schools' Red Apple Dining will continue its collaboration with the Summer Break Spot program to provide free, nutritious meals to children and teens while school is out of session. All youth ages 18 and younger are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at participating Summer Break Spot locations, regardless of enrollment in Seminole County Public Schools.

In addition, children attending summer camp at the J. Douglas Williams YMCA receive free breakfast and lunch each day through the Summer Break Spot program, helping ensure campers stay nourished, energized, and ready to participate in a full day of activities and learning.

The J. Douglas Williams YMCA offers meals during the following times:

Breakfast
Monday–Friday
8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

Lunch
Monday–Friday
12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

No application or registration is required. Meals are provided free of charge and must be consumed on-site. Please note that drive-thru service is not available.

Families can visit the Red Apple Dining Summer Break Spot website to access menus, ingredient information, participating locations, service dates, and meal schedules.
