Since joining the Seminole County Chamber in August, the team at Mission BBQ has been to 11 events, earning it a New Member Spotlight.

Mission BBQ is a patriotic, community-driven restaurant serving authentic, smoked-to-perfection American barbecue. Founded to honor those who serve, from military to first responders, Mission BBQ combines great food with purpose. Every meal celebrates service, sacrifice, and country—where tradition, flavor, and gratitude come together in every bite.

Why did you join the Chamber?
Mission BBQ joined the Chamber of Commerce to build stronger connections within our community and support the people and businesses that make it thrive. Being part of the Chamber allows us to engage with local leaders, participate in community events, and collaborate on initiatives that create lasting, positive impact for our area.
What surprised you the most about your experience with the Chamber so far?
What surprised MISSION BBQ the most about joining the Chamber of Commerce was how active and engaged the organization truly is. From frequent networking events to community initiatives and support programs, the Chamber consistently brings local businesses together. The level of energy, collaboration, and genuine community spirit exceeded all expectations.
What is your favorite Chamber benefit?
My favorite part of being involved with the Chamber of Commerce is the area councils. They feel much more personal and community-focused, allowing genuine connections to form between local business owners and leaders. The smaller, collaborative setting encourages meaningful conversations, shared ideas, and real partnerships that make a difference in our community.
