The Southeast Region of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) will host a complimentary community education program for women affected by ovarian cancer on Saturday, May 2. The event is designed to bring ovarian cancer survivors together to learn, connect, and gain valuable tools to support them throughout their journey.
Hosted by the Southeast Region of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, this community program will provide a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can hear from leading experts and community voices on important topics related to ovarian cancer care and survivorship.
Attendees will gain insights into strategies that support both physical and emotional well-being after a diagnosis. The day will also offer meaningful opportunities for survivors to connect with others who share similar experiences, helping to foster encouragement, understanding, and community.
“This program is about empowering women with knowledge, support, and connection. No one should have to face ovarian cancer alone, and we are committed to providing resources and education that help women navigate their journey.”
The program is free to attend, but registration is required.
Community members, healthcare professionals, and organizations interested in supporting the event are encouraged to reach out.
Women diagnosed with ovarian cancer who would like to attend, as well as individuals or businesses interested in sponsoring or volunteering, are encouraged to contact:
