National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to Host Free Educational Program for Ovarian Cancer Survivors

The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is currently seeking:

• A nurse volunteer to be on duty during the event

• A sponsor or partner to provide lunch for attendees

• Community sponsors who would like to support this important day of education and connection

• Small gifts to go in bags for the women

• Door prizes

The Southeast Region of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) will host a complimentary community education program for women affected by ovarian cancer on Saturday, May 2. The event is designed to bring ovarian cancer survivors together to learn, connect, and gain valuable tools to support them throughout their journey.

Hosted by the Southeast Region of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, this community program will provide a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can hear from leading experts and community voices on important topics related to ovarian cancer care and survivorship.

Attendees will gain insights into strategies that support both physical and emotional well-being after a diagnosis. The day will also offer meaningful opportunities for survivors to connect with others who share similar experiences, helping to foster encouragement, understanding, and community.

The program is free to attend, but registration is required.

Community members, healthcare professionals, and organizations interested in supporting the event are encouraged to reach out.
