Last week at Valhallan 

• We had a blast over the weekend at our Family Game Night! 

• Parents and kids all teamed up to enjoy familiar favorite games and enjoy some family connection time. 

• Our Winter season of Valhallan Esports League is underway in week 2. Our competing teams are learning what it takes to compete and advancing quickly! This mini season runs through January.

• Gamers Night In | Parents Night Out: Friday, Jan 17th 

• Cross Arena Fortnite Duos Tournament: Saturday, Jan 25th 

• Now enrolling members and forming teams for Spring Season: Preseason starts Monday, February 10th & Regular season weekly tournament play starts Monday, February 24th , concluding with 3 weeks of Playoffs ending May 1st. 

Esports Explained 

At Valhallan we implement lessons from traditional sports into esports, Teamwork is a key value that members learn. Like traditional sports, esports teams have roles that players on each team take on. Similar to a forward in hockey. Certain games have a role called Fragger or Main Frag. The role of the fragger is to be aggressive and seek out eliminations of the enemy team. Just as a forward would look to be aggressive to score in hockey. Often times the character chosen by the fragger has their own utility that gives them advantages in 1v1 duels. However, The fragger cannot do this entirely on his own. His team will use utility which varies from game to game that allows for the fragger to take advantageous fights. Getting an opening elimination often dictates who wins the fight, making this role critical in winning the overall match.

We offer both competitive and community clubs to cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels. Our competitive clubs offer training and youth competition, while our community clubs provide a fun and social environment for casual gamers. 
 
We are now enrolling new members ages 7-17, offering drop-in sessions, private arena rental for special events and Birthday Parties in addition to our rotating calendar of events.
