German American Society Celebrates Over Sixty Years Of Oktoberfests In Orlando And Adds New Date To Festivities

Orlando, Florida, August 22, 2025 – The popular German American Society of Central Florida continues its tradition of presenting what are considered the most authentic Oktoberfests in the State.   Two days of celebrations take place on October 4 and October 25, 2025 from Noon to 9 p.m. Continuous entertainment and games with a backdrop of live German music and dancing are featured in a Beer Garden setting with traditional German cuisine and imported German beers on tap. 

General Admission Tickets are $7.00 in advance on Eventbrite.com and $10.00 at the gate.  Entry is free for children under 11.  

Food includes potato pancakes, bratwurst, schnitzel, strudel and more.  Local dignitaries will participate in a traditional Flag Parade and Beer Barrel tapping ceremonies.  Numerous vendors will be exhibiting, and a specially dedicated area including a bounce house will entertain children and families.

Oktoberfest is an annual festival originating in Munich, Germany, held over a two-week period and ending on the first Sunday in October.  The festival began in 1810 in celebration of the marriage of the crown prince of Bavaria.

The German American Society of Central Florida was founded in 1963 and has made its home in its Casselberry clubhouse since 1972.  Today the society boasts hundreds of members and holds its highly anticipated annual festivals drawing more than 8,000 visitors each year.
