Oelrich Construction, Inc. Celebrates 20 years!

Orlando, FL – 12/9/24 – Oelrich Construction is pleased to announce the celebration of its 20th Anniversary, marking two decades of dedication to construction excellence. Established in 2004 in the front office of Ivan Oelrich’s family home in Newberry, FL, Oelrich Construction has grown into a trusted construction management company with 40 professional team members. Serving a diverse clientele across higher education, government, commercial, healthcare, science and technology, and civil/public infrastructure, including the University of Florida, with which we have collaborated on hundreds of projects over the past 20 years. The company's portfolio stands as a testament to its commitment to excellence.

The journey has been a remarkable one, with a focus not only on constructing iconic projects in North Central Florida and the Orlando area but also on building a reputation for honesty, hard work, and outstanding customer service—core values that continue to drive the company's success and define its character.

One of the company’s long-term clients is Palms Medical Group, a local family healthcare provider. Reflecting on Gainesville Regional Utilities’ longstanding relationship with Oelrich Construction, Rachel Lockhart, Director of Water/Wastewater Treatment Operations, remarked, “For years Oelrich Construction has been a trusted partner of GRU through a diversity of utility projects. In 2024, Oelrich Construction earned three awards from Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) through their Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards Program. Most notably, the firm was awarded the prestigious ABC Central Florida EIC Eagle Award in the Healthcare category for projects valued between $5-$10 million. This award recognizes the firm’s outstanding work on the Chi Small Animal Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility completed in 2023, located in Reddick, Florida. Medical Director for the new hospital, Terri Rosado, reflected on her relationship with Oelrich Construction during the process, stating, “Throughout the project, the Oelrich Construction team consistently demonstrated their deeply-rooted expertise, ability to adapt to changing requirements, and most of all, their unwavering commitment to excellence both in customer service and in project execution.
