Opera Orlando Announces New Series In Partnership With Judson’s Live At Dr. Phillips Center

Opera Orlando is proud to expand its OperaX series to Judson’s Live in Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with three new events. After presenting Opera by the Glass last July at Judson’s Live to a sold-out crowd, the Opera was immediately invited back to present a full series. The Company’s OperaX platform (a.k.a. “Opera Experience”) is for aficionados and newcomers alike, mixing food, opera, and fun. Opera Orlando has specifically curated three unique OperaX concepts to fit the elevated nightclub vibe of Judson’s.

Judson’s Live is the perfect venue for mixing bite-sized opera samplers with actual bite-sized appetizers and drinks,” says Opera Orlando general director Gabriel Preisser. “We’ve put together some fun crossover concepts blending Broadway, opera, jazz, and more in cabaret-style shows sure to appeal to music lovers of all ages.”

Featuring world-renowned singers performing iconic arias and modern favorites, these OperaX events will offer a unique and fun way to interact with opera like never before: Dueling Divas, Operetta Meets Bruschetta, and Opera-oke. Learn more about each show and their featured artists below.
