Lake Mary, FL (October 29, 2026) – October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital teamed up with Lake Mary first responders for Pink October.
The Lake Mary Fire Department and Lake Mary Police Department showed off two of their pink wrapped vehicles recently in front of Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital as team members, firefighters and police posed in front of a fire truck and a police pickup.
The city is partnering with Orlando Health to honor breast cancer survivors, those who are still fighting and those who have been lost to breast cancer, while raising awareness about the importance of early detection.
“Once again Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is proud to partner with our amazing first responders for the city’s annual Pink Wrap Initiative,” said Shawn Moslberger, president of Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital. “If you see these great vehicles around town, be sure to give them a wave in support. Breast cancer awareness is year-round. At Orlando Health, patients have access to the best comprehensive breast cancer care and a team of experts supporting them every step of the way.”
