The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is proud to announce Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Plumbing Service is the sponsor of the popular dragon lantern.
“The dragon lantern is always a showstopper, and it’s fantastic to have Pro-Tech sponsor it again this year,” said CEO Richard E. Glover Jr. “We’re proud to work together to make it a memorable experience for our guests.”
The annual holiday festival will take place at the Zoo on select nights November 15 through January 19, 2025. The event features larger-than-life handcrafted lanterns lit by more than 10,000 LED lights and combines beautiful color, light and sound to deliver a true experience celebrating traditional Asian lantern festivals.

Lanterns are situated on a 3/4-mile loop around the Zoo, providing a unique take on a holiday light show that will leave attendees clamoring to come back again and again with friends and family.

There are several opportunities for groups looking to experience the magic of the event, as well. Discounted pricing is available for groups of 15 or more on a single night. Event packages with catering and private spaces are also available for corporate events or holiday parties. And there are select opportunities for full buyouts, where groups can reserve their own evening of the festival for a private experience. This is the fifth year for the festival, which started in 2019 and was not held in 2020. Last year, the event once again broke attendance records, with more than 90,000 people heading through the Zoo’s gates to marvel at the spectacular festival. With many new lanterns to join the festival this year, past attendees will have plenty to capture their senses.
