Save the date for the best party of the season, Opera Orlando’s second annual Operazzi Bash, taking place on Saturday, October 24 in the DeVos Family Room at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Dress to impress and enjoy this mash-up of fashion, culture, performance, and joy “Under a Thousand Blossoms,” all benefiting the Opera’s education and outreach programs including the Opera Orlando Youth Company and Apprentice Artists and Studio Artists programs.
“We are so grateful to Dr. G and the Aria Circle committee for continuing their amazing support and inspiring our Company via the Operazzi Bash,” shares Opera Orlando general director Gabriel Preisser. “Last year’s inaugural Bash netted $80,000 specifically for our education programs and our new rehearsal space for those programs. This coming season is shaping up to be even grander with a fun mixture of “popera,” Broadway, and opera selections along with a few surprises, of course.”
This one-of-a-kind experience draws inspiration from Opera Orlando’s first MainStage production of the 2026-27 season, Puccini’s Madame Butterfly. It will truly be “a Night Under a Thousand Blossoms,” as the Devos Family Room is transformed into a beautiful garden of cherry blossoms, sparkle, and delight. Attendees will mix and mingle under a canopy of flowers and paper lanterns while enjoying performances by members of the Opera Orlando Youth Company and Studio Artists, all hosted by Grammy Award-winning baritone Gabriel Preisser.
The event will again be chaired by dedicated Opera Orlando patron Dr. Francelis Gonzalez, lovingly known as “Dr. G.” She leads the fundraiser and event committee, the Aria Circle, and they look forward to welcoming all to this event designed to provoke curiosity, spark conversation, and celebrate the audience as part of the performance. They invite attendees to embrace their inner fashionista with florals as the inspiration for the evening, and get ready for a curated experience unlike anything else.
Event and table sponsorships are currently available. Individual tickets will be available at a later date. Email info@operaorlando.org for more information.
See YOU at the Opera!
