Last weekend, a new festival took place in Oviedo. ¡Viva Oviedo! brought together the community, showcasing the power of Hispanic heritage, food and culture in Seminole County.
The festival was organized and managed by three Seminole County Chamber members - Florida Debate Initiative, Rock & Brews Oviedo and Covenant Journey Academy.
Earlier that week, Valhallan Esports Wekiva Springs held a FUNdraiser for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, sponsored by Union Home Mortgage.
All three companies are members of the Seminole County Chamber.
"As a Seminole County Chamber of Commerce member, we are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with fellow chamber members," Valhallan's owner, Dani Kelsey, said in a release about the event.
This shows the power of investing and participating in your chamber. It brings people together for business and economic development, but those connections can help make Seminole County a better place.
We're proud to be a part of each of these new initiatives through our members and hope other chamber members are inspired to create new programs and organizations to continue to build Seminole County and the Central Florida region.
