Seminole County Offers Campaign Sign Drop-Off After Election

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL. (November 4, 2026)  - Seminole County residents can help keep plastic campaign signs out of the landfill by dropping them off for free at the Central Transfer Station in Longwood from November 4–14. Plastic campaign signs should not be placed in curbside recycling bins.

The collection is part of a regional effort coordinated with neighboring local governments and the League of Women Voters of Seminole County.

WHEN: November 4–14, Monday–Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Citizen’s Drop-off Area at the Central Transfer Station, 1950 S.R. 419, Longwood

Metal and wooden stakes must be removed from the sign and placed in the designated area on site.
