Orlando, FL — September 25, 2025 — The Veterans Entrepreneurship Initiative (VEI) is pleased to host Guayama Group for a hybrid workshop, “Seven Deadly Sins of IT Security,” on October 15 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs strengthen their cybersecurity posture. The event will be held at the National Entrepreneur Center (3201 E. Colonial Drive, Suite A20, Orlando, FL 32803) and also offered virtually via Zoom. 

About the Event
In an age of rapidly evolving cyber threats, small businesses often face risks due to overlooked security fundamentals. Drawing on more than 20 years of data breach analysis, cybersecurity expert Dr. Darwin Rivera will uncover the “seven deadly sins” — the most common and avoidable IT security mistakes. Attendees will:

• Learn which security missteps small businesses routinely make
• Receive practical, actionable steps to immediately improve protection
• Build a personalized action plan to strengthen resilience
• Leave with increased confidence in safeguarding business data and operations
