Sunset At The Zoo, Presented By Orlando Health, Returns At The Central Florida Zoo This Summer

A favorite Central Florida summer event is back at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens for more fun and adventure!

 

Sunset at the Zoo, presented by Orlando Health, returns bringing after-hours adventure, culture and community vibes to your summer nights.

 

The Zoo’s popular event takes place on the fourth Friday of every month from May to September.

 

This beloved summer tradition offers guests of all ages the chance to experience the Zoo after hours, with extra time to explore, enjoy themed cultural celebrations and make unforgettable memories at a low price.

 

Tickets are just $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate. The event is separate from day admission and is not included for Annual Passholders. Families can also purchase a $46 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only.

Glover, Jr., CEO. “Sunset at the Zoo brings the community together in a fun, relaxed atmosphere where families can connect with wildlife, conservation and each other. Each event offers something new and exciting, making every visit a unique experience.”

 

Each month, Sunset at the Zoo will spotlight a different culture, featuring fun activities, themed keeper chats, local vendors, food trucks and more that celebrate the diverse communities of Central Florida.

 

2026 Sunset at the Zoo dates:

 

  • May 22 – Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage
  • June 26 – LGBTQ+ Pride
  • July 24 – Black & African American Heritage
  • August 28 – Native American & Alaska Native
  • September 25 – Hispanic Heritage

During Sunset at the Zoo, doors reopen at 5 p.m. and offers up fun until the sun goes down. Last admission for each event is 7:30 p.m.
