Tech Rage IT’s Chief Experience Officer, Matt Rose, was recently featured on Fox 35 Orlando on New Year’s Eve to discuss the Y2K incident, now 25 years in the past. The segment highlighted the lessons learned from Y2K and how it revealed our growing dependence on technology, a trend that has only intensified over the years.
During the discussion, Rose reflected on the significant technological advancements since Y2K and the critical importance of cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience in today’s digital age. "Even 25 years ago, our dependence on technology was evident," Rose noted. "Y2K was a wake-up call that underscored the need for robust IT systems and the foresight to anticipate potential technical challenges."
Rose emphasized that while the Y2K incident was largely averted due to proactive measures, it serves as a reminder to remain vigilant and prepared for future technological challenges. He highlighted the ongoing need for businesses to invest in secure and reliable IT solutions to mitigate risks and protect their operations.
Tech Rage IT continues to be a leader in providing managed IT services, helping businesses navigate the complexities of modern technology with confidence and peace of mind.
