Looking back on the past 12 months shows how far we have come as a chamber.
In March, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce named us a five-star chamber of commerce. This goal has only been accomplished by 11 chambers in Florida and says we are run at the highest standards of chambers across the country.
Then, in November, we were named the Chamber of the Year by the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals.
We were judged by our peers at chambers across the state.
Those are two incredible bookends to a great 2025.
During that time, we saw growth in nearly every statistic we track.
The number of members? Up nearly 10 percent from December 2024.
Social media views? We had more than 500,000 views on Facebook and more than 150,000 impressions on LinkedIn, nearly five times the amount as last year.
Event attendance? Increased by more than 30 percent, with an estimated 16,500 people attending a Seminole County Chamber event.
Website users? Up from 78,000 to 127,000 in 2025.
We had one member's event submission reach 1,200 views and one member's news release viewed by 7,000 people!
And, on YouTube, we more than tripled our number of subscribers after launching ChamberWORKS, featuring a dozen Seminole County businesses. That program alone was viewed by more than 3,500 people.
We share this with you because it shows the opportunity for each of our members and potential members. Reach out to us to help you navigate to the programs and services where you can see your investment in our community truly shine.
This is the final newsletter of 2025. Our office will be closing on December 23 and will not reopen until January 5, 2026. We use this time to recharge for the next year and to ensure we can spend quality time with our friends and loved ones.
We all hope you have a great holiday season!
