The Southern Group Deepens Health Care Bench With AHCA Alum Erica Floyd Thomas

TALLAHASSEE, FL – The Southern Group (TSG) is pleased to announce that Erica Floyd Thomas has joined the firm as a Partner, bringing more than two decades of experience in health care policy, Medicaid administration, behavioral health, and government relations. Her addition strengthens TSG’s health care practice and deepens the firm’s expertise in Medicaid policy, behavioral health and large-scale health care program implementation.  

Thomas joins The Southern Group after serving as Chief of Staff at the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). Prior to that, Floyd served as Assistant Secretary for Substance Abuse and Mental Health at the Florida Department of Children and Families.
