This Week’s Cooking Tip: The Power of Patience in Braising
Great oxtail (and dishes like it) comes from low and slow cooking. Braising allows tough cuts of meat to transform into tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness.
- Lock in flavor with a quick sear first
- Add aromatics (onion, garlic, thyme) for depth
- Simmer low and slow until tender
Pro Tip: Let the dish rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking. It gives the flavors time to meld beautifully.
