Two Greater Orlando Venues Named To Newsweek’s Best Youth Baseball Complexes Of 2025

Central Florida has once again proven itself as a premier destination for youth sports, with two venues recognized among the Best Youth Baseball Complexes in America by the 2025 Newsweek Fans’ Choice Awards. Boombah Sports Complex in Seminole County earned the #1 national ranking, while ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Osceola County was honored at #8 on the prestigious list.
Boombah Sports Complex’s top ranking is a testament to its state-of-the-art facilities, including 15 top-quality fields, professional lighting, digital scoreboards, and spacious team amenities. The venue has become a hub for elite travel baseball tournaments and showcases, drawing teams and families from across the country.
“We’re proud to see the Boombah Sports Complex recognized as the nation’s Best Youth Baseball Complex by Newsweek’s Fan Choice Awards,” said Seminole County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Jay Zembower. “Seminole County is a great place for youth sports – and this honor reflects not only the exceptional quality of the facility, but also the dedication of the staff who keep it running at the highest level. Our destination truly has it all, and we’re honored to welcome athletes and families from across the country to experience it.”
Also earning national acclaim, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex was ranked #8 in the country. Known for its expansive layout, world-class amenities, and ability to host large-scale national and international events, the facility features multiple baseball and softball diamonds, a 9,500-seat stadium that has hosted Major League Baseball games, the ability to regularly televise games on ESPN networks and a surrounding Disney theme park environment that elevates the athlete and fan experience.
“These national rankings are a testament to the strength of our region’s sports tourism ecosystem. Kudos to the community leaders and operators at both venues,” said Jason Siegel, President & CEO of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “Seminole and Osceola counties continue to raise the bar, offering not only premier facilities but also the kind of seamless, athlete-focused experiences that drive long-term partnerships. Having collaborated with event organizers for more than three decades, we understand what it takes to perform and deliver results on and off the field.”
