 25,000 Toys Delivered to Central Florida Kids & Families
Cast and guests came together for the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, donating more than 25,000 toys to families in need across Central Florida. Stitch even joined in and helped Disney VoluntEARS sort through donations for the Marine Toys for Tots Program … he’s hoping this will get him on Santa’s “nice list.”
"We would not be able to accomplish our mission at the Marines Toys for Tots Program without Disney's support and the incredible help from its cast. It means so much to see how they give back and support the communities around Central Florida," said local Marines Toys for Tots coordinator Sgt. Paul Jackson.
 600,000 Meals Donated to Florida Neighbors In Need
Walt Disney World teamed up with WESH 2 News for their Share Your Christmas food drive, joining the community to pack donations and support Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Disney also donated an additional 600,000 meals to our Florida neighbors facing hunger this holiday season.
"Disney has been foundational to the success of Second Harvest for decades," said Derek Chubbs, President of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. "We serve thousands of people every day, and we would not be able to help nearly as many people if not for Disney's support."
 Families of Fallen Heroes Honored at Snowball Express
Nearly 1,000 Walt Disney World cast members lined up along Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom to celebrate and support families of fallen U.S. military heroes and first responders at the Gary Sinise Foundation’s Snowball Express. This special retreat helps us give back healing, hope and new happy memories to families who have given so much to us through their service.
