Do you have 30 minutes a week to change a life? Take Stock in Children offers high school students in our program a volunteer mentor, a College Readiness Coach, and skill building workshops to help prepare them for college. Upon graduation from high school and the program, students are awarded a 2-year college scholarship.
Become a mentor to a deserving Take Stock student! By simply being a caring adult offering consistent support, guidance and encouragement, YOU can make a significant impact on a student's life and path to success.
"I want to thank my mentor for always believing in me, even when I doubted myself. Your guidance, support, and honest feedback have shaped not only my education but also my confidence and mindset. You've been a constant source of inspiration - pushing me to aim higher, think deeper, and never settle for less than my best. I'm incredibly grateful for the tie you've invested in me and the example you've set." - TSIC Grad, Class of 2025
Mentors meet with students weekly during school hours on their high school campus and a virtual option is available. Learn more at https://www.foundationscps.
