Alignable.com recently finished their small business of the year contest. This contest included small businesses in both the USA and Canada, with over 80,000 businesses participating. Waverly Resources, LLC earned a spot in the top 50 (#44) in North America, #1 in central Florida and Winter Park. 
 

To become an Alignable Small Business Person of the Year, the process includes active participation in this annual contest hosted by Alignable, a networking platform for small businesses. The contest had over 80,000 participants, and ran from January 14 to March 7 this year. Earning votes is accomplished by networking actively, interacting with peers on the platform, providing value in those networking interactions, earning their trust, and encouraging peers to vote.

For a local title, winners are determined by the highest vote totals in each community, subject to Alignable’s final review. For national recognition, it is the number of votes as well as the number of recommendations a business received. 
 

I am honored and deeply grateful to be named the Winter Park Small Business Person of the year as well as an Alignable North American Top 50 business leader. This recognition is a testament to the support from the Alignable community. This award says a lot about the value of networking and the quality of relationships that networking can foster.
